With winter sports coming to an end we celebrate all the Coaches and athletes who participated on the AGS Basketball and Swim teams this year. COVID-19 imposed unique challenges on this year’s season, but the teams and coaches found innovative and safe ways to hold practices and even an intrasquad swim meet this year. The Varsity basketball team, coached by Coach Brown, only held practices in order to stay safe. The AGS swim team, coached by Coach Cat, Ms. Cockrill, and Coach Mara, concluded their season last week.

The swim team welcomed many new swimmers this year including Harper Hudepohl 26’ who expressed,

Swim was super fun because I was able to be with my friends after school and get better at swim at the same time. The AGS intrasquad meet was great! I was able to see how much improvement in racing I had made over the course of the season, which was a lot of fun”

while reflecting back on her first year of swim at AGS.
