Bulletin Board: Black Lives Matter
February 2, 2021
We would like to begin celebrating the unique beauty of Black History Month with a photo gallery of the present — the Black Lives Matter movement. This movement will soon become a part of the history that our children will honor in every Black History month moving forward. Many of our very own members of the AGS community participated in BLM protests and rallies, and have shared their photos and experiences with us!

“Protesting was an invigorating, intense experience. It felt great to be a part of history. I was one of the protesters among the first group that marched for George Floyd in Atlanta and left right before the rioting at the CNN Center started. My group almost got ran over by a cop car – it felt like it was all straight out of a movie. I am very passionate about the subject of police brutality and how it takes so many innocent black lives, so this experience was very special to me. Getting out there and letting your voice be heard is so important.” Ami Dodd-Mungin, 23′
